Jon Paske - work experience
1976-1979 Peter Zidich Hair Design.
1980-1981 Sub leased Hairsay Salon Wellington. Left to travel.
1981-1982 Traveled through Asia and Europe
1982-1983 Worked as Dive Master for Whitsunday Islands Dive School, Queensland.
1983-1984 Joined the N.Z army as a Rifleman in the Infantry. Left infantry to marry.
1984-1995 Established my own salon Harbour City Hair.
1995-1999 Sold salon to join the film industry as a Stand In Actor and Double for M.J. Fox in the film The Frighteners and then worked my way into a position in the sound department as a Boom Operator. Continued to work as a Boom Operator and set up Homestay N.Z to to bring and take students to and from Japan.
1999-2000 Attended the National College of Design and Technology for the purpose of gaining a Diploma in Computer Graphic Design. Working as a freelance Designer for web and print.
2000- 2001 Working for Palana Productions on the Dark Knight Television series designing DK Logo, publicity-advertising designs and their web site. Freelance Graphics work.
2001- 2010 Working at Norris Barbers in Wellington, and doing freelance boom & graphic design work.
2011 - Established The Barbershop with Chris.
Chris Harrington-Lines - work experience
1992 – 1 year hairdressing certificate at Wellington Polytechnic.
1993 – Started at Grace Hairdressing on Ghuznee street as an apprentice hairdresser.
1994 – Left Grace to work with a friend at his salon Heretic Hair on Courtney Place, as a senior stylist.
1996 – Heretic Hair closed down and I took a break from hairdressing and worked nine months for Streetmail, a walking courier in the Wellington CBD, before it too closed down.
1997 – Started work at Norris Barbers on Waring Taylor Street, while also doing occasional wedding photography.
2011 – Left Norris Barbers to start The Barbershop with Jon.
